From the North….
A470 approx 3.5 miles from Rhayader clock tower on the Rhayader to Builth Wells road.
Just past (only just!) The Halt cafe and Esso petrol station on the right. We are next door to the “Vulcan Lodge”

Care some Sat Navs will tell you to turn left onto Allt Y Crug, please don’t do this.

Please note that our signs are burgandy in colour, the green ones belong to our neighbours.

From the South….
A470 approx 10 miles from Builth Wells, signposted Rhayader.
N.B. NOT the A483 to Llandrindod Wells. Through Newbridge-On-Wye, then after approx 4 miles look for a signpost for The Halt Cafe. (take the slip road and not the sharp left) we are next door to the Vulcan Lodge, just before the Esso petrol station.

From the East…
A44 To Rhayader turn left at the clock tower onto the A470 and then follow directions as for “from the north”

The Pines Caravan Park is situated on an old railway line, which closed in the 1960’s following The Beeching Report.
The caravans can be found on two different levels, with those on the lower level standing on the old platform.
The Reception and our living accommodation is the old Doldowlod Station house / ticket office
